Conversations...

Here is a sampling of some daily conversations with Camden:

As we approach the Time Warner office to pay our cable bill... "Here we are. They give us Noggin."

As Camden sits at my laptop..."I find the typing." And he proceeds to go to start and pull up the Notepad program so he can type.

One morning he asked if he could have some of "mommy's yogurt" (it isn't anything special, just not the Yoplait kids kind we buy for him). So I bring over a container and a small bowl. I tell him I'll split it with him. I scoop some in the bowl and hand it to him. He says "I eat out of the cup." So I trade him the bowl for the cup. Then he asks, "Can I see the bowl?" He proceeds to dump the bowl back into the cup, hands me the basically empty cup and says, "Ok, now we share." And I think, no, now you eat it all and I scrape the bowl:)

He is such fun!!!

A Blessing

This morning Kevin and I went to a followup ultrasound to check MacKenna again. At the first U/S a month ago they saw a cyst on her brain. They told us repeatedly that it was not a big deal and should be gone in a month, so we had to come back for a followup. This morning all looked great and the cyst was GONE!!!! Praise God! She was very active, measured well in all aspects, weighs just at a pound and looked good to the tech. She checked again and we are definitely having a girl! So thanks to all who prayed and helped ease our hearts over the past month. Today is such a day to celebrate! And tomorrow Camden turns 3!!! How did that happen so fast! He is such a joy and we feel blessed to get to be his parents. Hopefully this week we will post about his party and include some long overdue pictures.
