Beach Trip

At the end of Sept we took our first official family vacation to Carolina Beach. I really enjoyed the first night running up and down the River Walk in Wilmington, NC. I also loved the hotel we stayed at - I could open the closet doors and hide inside:) The beach was fun too. My favorite thing was to just stand in the water and have the waves hit my legs. I think Mom and Dad had a good time too - watching me play and discover the ocean and sand. I can't wait to go back next year!!

Playing by the fountain in Wilmington. I Love moving water!!

My first adventure in the sand. Mom got sunscreen in my eyes, so they look like I've been crying:(

A quiet walk along the beach with my Dad!!

I could have stayed here all day!

Everyone says I look like my dad - what do you think?

Recent Pictures

I told you I didn't quite enjoy my trip to FL. Here I am on Clay's shoulders and my face says it all!!

I really love to help out around the house - here I am setting up the vaccuum.

In this picture I am about 18 months old. You can see the big difference if you go back to the beginning of my blog and see me next to Carter then and now.

More cleaning - I am my father's son!!!

Too Cool!!

What a week!!

I do have some new pictures that I will try to post soon, but we have had an eventful few weeks and there hasn't been time. Camden had his surgery (simple outpatient procedure) on Oct 20 and has been healing well. But Monday he broke out with a very high fever and general fussiness. After two trips to the doctors and lots of test they determined he has Roseola. His fever finally broke yesterday, but today we were back at the doctor because he was so lethargic. They determined he is kind of dehydrated, so now we are home with Pedialiyte, popsicles and anything else liquid he will consume. It's been a rough week (Mom and Dad have spent a couple nights up a lot and then days have been touch and go), but hopefully we are near the end. Because of all this we had to take a rain check on Halloween - bummer!! Camden has had fun wearing his dog costume around the house, so maybe we can take a few pictures in it once he is better just for the memory! I'll get the other pictures scanned and posted soon. Thanks to everyone for all your prayers and well-wishes during the surgery! They were all appreciated and felt during that day and the time following.
