Cute me!!

So it has been awhile since Mom had time to let me write and update you on my exciting life. But tonight she said I could take all time I needed to get everyone up to date. So here goes (and there maybe multiple posts).

First there was Thanksgiving. Mom, dad, Grandma and I traveled to Charlotte, NC to visit with family there. Dad's dad's family (the Hipps and Morris side) live in and around Charlotte. We don't see them as often as we would like, but isn't that the case with all the people we love. We drove over on Wednesday afternoon and had a wonderful dinner at Aunt Donna and Uncle Jimmy's house. I enjoyed dinner once I got used to the fact that they had 5 dogs there that night. They tried to keep the dogs outside, but those dogs know how to open the door so we had a few close calls. I have determined that I am not a huge fan of dogs (they like to lick my face). Dinner that night was a big crowd - as I said we were at Aunt Donna (my grandpa's sister) and Uncle Jimmy's house. Then their kids came over - Lauren (and her new fiance Drew), David and Katie. It was fun. That night we spent the night at Lauren's house and then daddy and Lauen ran in a race early the next morning. After that we loaded up the cars and drive to the Mountain House in Golden Valley, NC. This house has been in the family for 3-4 generations and is VERY old. We all met there for a big lunch. There were too many people to mention, but my favorite part was playing in the leaves outside.
